In this blog by Playstation a few years ago their network had been hacked by someone resulting in the PSN (or playstation network) to be closed down for a while. in the blog they talk to their users about how the network had been hacked and they say that people's credit information as well as home addresses, names, country, email, birth dates, and a lot more personal information about their users had been "compromised". in reality it is a large possibility that this information was stolen and it could cause a lot of trouble for people who use PSN as their credit history could be ruined as well as a lot more than that. the way that Playstation worded their statement was in a way that people wouldn't get mad. and to try and sugar coat what had happened.
I apologize for this assignment being late, i would have had it in earlier but certain events arose that prevented me from doing this in a timely manor. I hope that this fits your criteria, even though it is late. Again I am very sorry for turning this in late, you seemed to be very frustrated with us about not getting our assignments in within the allotted time, i will try my hardest to make certain that this does not occur again or at least as close to the due date as possible.
Nice explanation of the events. This, I would guess, is a euphemism, or using nicer words to evoke different emotions. You should mention this tactic directly in your explanation.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I understand your fallacious argument in the paragraph, but would have liked it labeled as well. Labeling and bolding the specific spot where the argument takes place helps the reader see it more clearly.
